aSMAA AHMED
Asmaa Ahmed Inspired by animals and natural forms, sculptress Asmaa Ahmed honors the character of the stone she works with, creating wonderfully organic forms. Her intuition may come directly from the lineage of ancient Egyptian artisants that came before her, and she uses familiar stylizations, yet maintains her own personal touch, with softly rendered curves and exuding an earnest joy. First introduced to Luxor Art Gallery when she participated in a week long sculpture workshop with Dr. Ibrahim Mansour, Asmaa worked tirelessly day and night to complete her wonderful artworks.
