BARAKAT HAMZA ABDUL HAKAM
Barakat Hamza Abdul Hakam Friend of Luxor Art Gallery, Barakat Hamza Abdul Hakam is a local young artist who has shown a commitment to his craft and his community. He has participated in numerous art workshops in Luxor and at Luxor Art Gallery, honing his skills with determination and passion. While his work does not tend to be “contemporary” often reproducing antiquities of his ancient ancestors, there is no doubt at his incredible craftsmanship with a perfectionist eye for details and remarkable symmetry. His works in stone are elegant and graceful carved by a loving hand. We are pleased to showcase just a few of his many sculptures at Luxor Art Gallery, to support this local talent and encourage his ongoing work. —D.N.
