Enas Omara Luxor Art Gallery is thrilled to share the masterful watercolors of Enas Omara. Enas is a dedicated and prolific artists, with a successful career in illustration, graphics, cartoons, and comics. But her watercolors capture a more thoughtful and personal artistry, like a private moment shared as she explores Egypt with a wandering eye. Bold and confident with her paintbrush, her paintings of Luxor monuments, Nubian landscapes, and Cairo city streets feel as raw and real as the moment in which she paints them: light illuminates and shadows fall, and paint splashes, dribbles, and bleeds across the paper. One can hear the stillness of the temple, or the turmoil of the city. Enas’ paintings are less like photographs and more like the memories one keeps in their mind of a memorable morning and a sentimental afternoon.
