Fatma Eltillep The divine feminine forms of Fatma Eltillep’s sculptures defy the rough stone she carves in, creating graceful, bold figures as beautiful and majestic as the artist herself. A recent graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts South Valley University in Luxor, Fatma participated in a week long sculpture workshop at Luxor Art Gallery guided by Professor Ibrahim Mansour. Fatma’s dedication and passion for her sculpture radiates not only in her final artworks, but the intense toil and labor that she gives each piece. It is a joy to see her work, and an astonishment to see her imagination’s unique creations come alive. —D.N.
