Khadiga Zaki We are so pleased to present the lovely doll art of Khadiga Zaki at Luxor Art Gallery.
A celebration of Egyptian women artists and exploring the feminine would not be complete without the lovely dolls of Khadiga Zaki. Each doll is an artwork in itself, exploring lovely Egyptian textiles and materials, but more so, the unique personality of each little woman and girl she depicts. One feels they come from all over Egypt, with their own individual story and history, different family life, different struggles, different lives... It would be wonderful to sit with Khadiga and hear her stories and memories for each one. We are so grateful to her to share her wonderful art with us. Thank you Khadiga! —D.N.
