Muhammed Ehab "Bavro" Luxor based artist Bavro has a wonderful spontaneity in his distinctive, confident brushstrokes. A prolific illustrator and cartoonist, Bavro is uninhibited to try everything in the interest of developing his innate, brilliant skills. His work can go from whimsical caricatures, to severely serious and brooding figurative explorations. Enamored with the face, he creates thoughtful renderings of his subjects, including self portraits and images evoking his ancient Egyptian roots. His work maintains a raw thoughtfulness, the brush moving as rapidly across the canvas as his eyes across his subject, bringing to life a sense of deep reflection.
