TAKWA SABRY

Takwa Sabry  تقوى صبري     Takwa Sabry's intense and vigourous series of paintings entitled "The City" takes the viewer on a journey that is colorful, layered, textural, and full of discoveries. Like topographic maps full of enigmatic meanings, the mind interprets and explores. All the while, dense details and symbols like stars and scarabs situate us somewhere in Egypt, along roads, deserts, waters, and chaos.
